In recent years, changes have been made in the structure of primary energy use in the European

Union In addition, a reduction in the use of primary energy has also been observed. According to

the forecasts of the International Energy Agency, the European energy market will be subject to

further changes in the perspective of 2040. These may include the reduction of the energy consumption

and the change in the structure of the energy balance as a result pro-ecological activities.

Natural gas will be the only fossil energy carrier whose role in covering the energy demand will not

change. Along with the changes taking place in the European energy market, global changes can

also be observed. The EU Member States will continue to strive to diversify natural gas supplies.

One of the main elements of diversification of natural gas supplies is the use of LNG regasification

terminals. The reasons for that include the increasing production of natural gas, particularly in the

case of unconventional deposits, the ongoing development of liquefaction terminals, and, as a consequence,

an increase in the LNG supply in the global market. The article presents the utilization of

regasification terminals in the EU Member States and plans for the development of LNG terminals.

Europe has the opportunity to import natural gas through LNG terminals. However, until now,

these have been used to a limited extent. This may indicate that in addition to diversification tasks,

terminals can act as a safeguard against interruptions in gas supplies.

W pracy szczegółowo omówiono sposób tworzenia macierzowego modelu ewolucji składu ziarnowego materiału w dowolnym układzie mieląco-klasyfikującym. Proponowany model oparty na równaniu bilansu masowego populacji ziaren składa się z trzech macierzy blokowych: macierzy całego układu M, macierzy wejść (nadawy bądź produktu) stopni układu F i macierzy nadawy całego układu F0. Poszczególne elementy macierzy blokowej M opisują ewolucję składu ziarnowego w całym układzie. W macierzy tej zawsze występuje macierz jednostkowa I i macierz zerowa 0, a w zależności od złożoności schematu układu pojawiają się w niej także macierz przejścia P i macierz klasyfikacji C, której elementy można wyznaczyć eksperymentalnie. Występujące w modelu elementy macierzy blokowej F opisują wszystkie gęstości składu ziarnowego wchodzące do danego stopnia układu mieląco-klasyfikującego, zaś elementy macierzy blokowej F0 ujmują gęstość składu ziarnowego nadawy ze źródeł zewnętrznych podawanej do wszystkich stopni układu. W pracy przedstawiono algorytm i trzy przykłady tworzenia macierzy blokowych dla wybranych schematów układu. Zaproponowany model może być wykorzystany w prognozowaniu uziarnienia produktu opuszczającego wybrany stopień układu oraz w modelowaniu procesów przeróbczych.

The semantics of temporal distributiveness comes into the fore in two cases: a) either when a habitual activity is correlated with the recurrent periods of time; b) or when the recurrent periods of time are accompanied by an activity. The present paper is yet another contribution to a series of papers exploring Polish temporal constructions with distributive meaning. It focuses on constructions with the pronoun każdy, such as (spotykamy się) w każdą sobotę (każdą sobotę).

Reliable evaluation of stress-strain characteristics can be done only in the laboratory where boundary conditions with respect to stress and strain can be controlled. The most popular laboratory equipment is a triaxial apparatus. Unfortunately, standard version of triaxial apparatus can reliable measure strain not smaller than 0.1 %. Such accuracy does not allow to determine stiffness referred to strain range most often mobilized in situ i.e. 10-3 ÷ 10-1%, in which stiffness distribution is highly nonlinear. In order to overcome this problem fundamental modifications of standard triaxial apparatus should be done. The first one concerns construction of the cell. The second refers to method of measurement of vertical and horizontal deformation of a specimen. The paper compares three versions of triaxial equipment i.e. standard cell, the modified one and the cell with system of internal measurement of deformation. The comparison was made with respect to capability of stiffness measurement in strain range relevant for typical geotechnical applications. Examples of some test results are given, which are to illustrate an universal potential of the laboratory triaxial apparatus with proximity transducers capable to trace stress-strain response of soil in a reliable way.
