There is a sulfide mineralization vein type in the Cindakko area, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. The results of mineralogical studies on the Cindakko prospects for sulfide ore mineralization are explained in this paper. Petrographic, mineragraphic, and XRD methods analyzed the mineralization and alteration samples from the research area. The results showed that the host rock mineralization is basalt, a member of the Baturappe-Cindakko Volcano from the Late Miocene age. The identified hydrothermal alteration mineral associations include quartz, chlorite, epidote, biotite, actinolite, and pyrite, generally formed in propyllitic alteration zones mainly characterized by chlorite. The analysis provides the occurrence of mineralization types: crustiform-banding quartz veins, vuggy quartz, and disseminated, contain hypogenic pyrite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, bornite, and tennantite ores, and supergene ore minerals in the form of covellite. Ore textures recognized under a microscope are intergrowth, replacement, open-space filling, and exsolution. Based on the interpretation of temperature stability of hydrothermal alteration minerals, it is concluded that it was formed at approximately 200 to 320°C with the hydrothermal fluid pH almost neutral. The fundamental characteristics of hydrothermal alteration, ore mineral assemblage and texture, mineralization type, temperature range form, and hydrothermal fluid pH indicate that the mineralization in the Cindakko Prospect is an epithermal type.

Na obszarze Moncongloe w regencji Maros w prowincji Sulawesi Południowej w Indonezji zidentyfikowano mineralizację zeolitu w porfirowym ryolicie i zielonym tufie w sekwencji wulkaniczno- osadowej, należącej do mioceńskiej formacji Camba.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the changes in calcium, phosphorus and some biochemical parameters in dogs with open and closed cervix pyometra, which was then compared with a control group. A total of 62 bitches of age group 5-10 years old irrespective of breed were enrolled into the study. Control group consisted of 22 bitches which were clinically healthy and in luteal phase of the estrus cycle. On clinical examination, pyometra was diagnosed in 40 bitches while 23 out of 40 bitches had open-cervix pyometra and 17 of 40 bitches had closed-cervix pyometra. Evaluation of haematological changes revealed that there was increased white blood cell (WBC), total protein (TP), globulin, alkaline phosphatase (ALKP) while decreased glucose (Glu), albumin (Alb) and albümin globulin ratio in pyometra cases (p<0.001). The highest WBC and ALKP levels were detected in closed-cervix pyometra group (p<0.001). Calcium (Ca+2) levels had significant rise in open-cervix pyometra cases (p<0.05) while phosphorus (Phos) levels had tend to increase in closed-cervix pyometra cases (p=0.08). Also, Ca was directly correlated with Glu, Alb and TP while inversely correlated with WBC and blood urea nitrogen/creatinine (BUN/Crea). However, Phos was significantly associated with BUN and Crea (p<0.001; R=0.915 and R=0.860, respectively). As a result of this study, it was observed that the increased Ca levels in open-cervix cases and the elevated Phos levels in closed-cervix cases, were associated with the biochemical parameters related to hepatic and renal dysfunction in dogs with pyometra.

Climate, land use, and land cover change can propagate alteration to the watershed environment. The interaction be-tween natural and human activities probably accelerates the change, a phenomenon that will generate serious environmental problems. This study aims to evaluate the change in the hydrological regime due to natural and human-induced processes. The study was conducted in Brantas watershed, Indonesia, which is the largest watershed in East Java. This area is populat-ed by more than 8 million inhabitants and is the most urbanized area in the region. An analysis of rainfall time series use to shows the change in natural phenomena. Two land-use maps at different time intervals were used to compare the rapid de-velopment of urbanization, and the discharge from two outlets of the sub-watersheds was employed to assess hydrological changes. The indicator of hydrological alteration (IHA) method was used to perform the analysis. The daily discharge data are from 1996 to 2017. The research results show an increase in flow (monthly, 1-day, 3-day, 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day flows) in the two sub-watersheds (Ploso and Kertosono) from the pre-period (1996–2006) to the post-period (2007–2017).

The contributions of the members of the Department of Geochemistry, Mineralogy and Petrology, University of Warsaw, to the study of the chevkinite-group of minerals (CGM) are described. The range of research topics includes: (i) geochemical and mineralogical studies of natural occurrences of the group, and attempts to relate their chemical composition to host lithology; (ii) detailed analysis of the hydrothermal alteration of CGM in various settings, with the aim of understanding element redistribution and the potential implications for ore formation. An ongoing series of high P-T experiments is providing quantitative information on the pressures, temperatures and melt water conditions under which the alteration assemblages have formed. Various spectroscopic techniques are being used to determine the structure of the CGM and to identify cation distribution in the structures.

Fluorite mineralization was studied in the Variscan granitoid Karkonosze pluton in the northern part of the Bohemian massif (Lower Silesia, Poland). Fluid inclusions in fluorite and quartz were investigated by the following methods: heating and freezing on an immersion microscope stage, spectrophotometric and electron probe analysis, calcination and water leachate. The parent fluids of fluorite were of the Na-Ca-Cl type with a low CO₂ content. The fluoride ions had sources in the pluton and in its host rocks. Fluid inclusion observations provide evidence of various post-formation alteration. such as refilling, partition, cracking, migration, expulsion or vacuole modification from irregular to cubic habit. A final model of fluorite origin and parent fluid evolution is presented.

This article brings together two authors/two poems and makes them enter into an intertextual dialogue that involves the discourses of the new materialism (Catherine Malabou), postphenomenology (Natalie Depraz and Marc Richir) and Delphic maxims. Concepts like plasticity, transformation masks, alterations in the passage of time (chronos, kairos, aeon), subjectivity, emotional excess, and the living body are used to establish the foundations a poetic conversation, which, for all one knows, may be fortuitous or in a way preordained.
