 abstract={The results ofgeostatistical studies of the selected Polish mineral deposits have been presented. Attention has been paid to the adventages of linear geostatistics usage in the elaboration of geological data. It has been emphasized that the variability structure of mineral deposits should be analysed more deeply and anisotropy and heterogeneity should be taken into account during the resources/reserves estimation. Geostatistics should be widely used at different stages of deposits studies.},
