The stratigraphic record is discontinuous. Ammonites include both endemic and more cosmopolitan taxa, with representatives of the genera Beudanticeras, Cleoniceras, Hoplites, Anahoplites, Semenoviceras, Euhoplites, Dimorphoplites, Epihoplites, Callihoplites, Sulcohoplites, Arrhaphoceras, Placenticeras, Hysteroceras, Pervinquieria, Goodhallites, Idiohamites, and Hamites.
