Their research, social and design works can be used to trace how the concepts, ideas and wonderful visions intended to structure the landscape and properly manage it have developed. Professor Janusz Bogdanowski laid the groundwork for the methods and approaches to researching, planning and designing the landscape. Professor Maria Łuczyńska-Bruzda, with her research, design and practical work, defined the framework for landscape conservation and defined the role of the landscape architect within it.
